The Staff Housing

The staff housing area includes a mix of villas and apartment units to house up to a maximum of 5000 employees. A central open space area has been accommodated in the centre of the housing area to provide passive and active recreation

Opportunities for the residents. A light industries/utility area has been located east of the staff housing area and away from the prime resort areas. This area will provide support services for Tala Bay resort and will include; central laundry, workshops, vehicle repair, handicrafts, project management offices, golf course maintenance and storage, bottled water plant.

A commercial area is located adjacent to the staff housing area along the coastal/scenic road to provide support services for resort staff as well as general resort and community facilities. The location of these facilities along the road ensures that they are visible and accessible by a wide range of the local population. Uses in this area may include; gas station, car service area, small grocery store, post office, bank, and other community serving commercial uses.
